NOTE: With the economy as it is, the HBD is struggling to
meet its meager operating expenses of approximately $3500
per year. If less than half of those currently directly
subscribed to the HBD sent in a mere $5.00, the HBD would
be able to easily meet its annual expenses, with room to
spare for next year. Please consider it.

Keith,
I believe Oxy Clean is similar to PBW. I would certainly
recommend picking up some PBW to clean your keg
and parts thoroughly. I've got a keg soaking in it right
now. Your local HB supply should have some
available.
Recirculating with cleaner can lessen the amount
you need, but balance that with how much crud
you are trying to remove. I'd soak anything for a few
days that has any amount of visible dirt on it.

Greetings, Beerlings! Take me to your lager...
If you are reading this, then you are reading glad, glad news! The
Home Brew Digest long lines wrapping subroutine is functioning, and
making what was not postable, postable once again! (Postable... is
that even a word?)
This announcement note has intentionally been written using lines
longer than 80. Note that, if YOUR post has lines longer than 80, you
will STILL get an error message back from the Digest (though the
wording has been changes within). Fret not - this is to alert you that
your note has been stuffed into the line wrap processor, and to tell
you to contact the Janitors if you don't get a "normal" response from
the server with cancellation info therein. Once the wrapper has been
wrappin' and we know it's good at it, this response will be turned
off.
See ya!
